SCORPIONS
Biography
and Discography
1965 -
inspired by the beginning rock-era, 17 year-old
Rudolf Schenker founded a band. At that time nobody
knew that this band should become the most famous
rock-act, one day.
2000 - 35 years later The Scorpions can look back at
a giant career full of highlights. We still remember
songs like "Rock You Like A Hurricane",
"Send Me An Angel" and, of course, the hymn
of the fall of the Berlin Wall "Wind Of
Change".
Meanwhile they have released 17 albums and have had
tours in Europe, Asia and in the USA. But they would
never think of coming to an end.
On the contrary: The Scorpions always look for new
challenges.
Punctual to the Expo2000 they have started a
cross-over-Project together with the Berlin
Philharmonic Orchestra. It is the latest legacy to
their fans.
Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs, Ralph
Rieckermann and James Kottak - Scorpions, who show us
a lot of power instead of a sting.
